Membership

Eligibility

Membership is open to any person aged 18 years or older who is a resident of Alberta and supports the objectives of the Society.

Junior members under the age of 18 may participate with written consent from a parent or guardian.

Membership Fees

Currently, there is no membership fee. In the future, any introduction of fees will be decided through a vote by members or the Board of Directors during General Meetings.

Code of Conduct

All members are expected to uphold the following standards:

• Treat all members, visitors, and the community with respect and courtesy
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety guidelines
• Share responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the space
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere
• Keep conversations neutral — avoid politics, religion, and gossip
• Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind

Withdrawal & Reinstatement

Members may withdraw at any time. Membership may be suspended for violations of the code of conduct, with reinstatement considered on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors.
