Executive Committee
The Hinton Men's Shed Society is governed by an Executive Committee consisting of elected officers and directors who volunteer their time and expertise.
Chair
Jason Mawdsley
Presides over all meetings, provides overall leadership and direction, and serves as the primary spokesperson for the Society.
Vice-Chair
Travis Johnson
Assists the Chair and assumes the Chair's duties in their absence. Supports strategic planning and committee coordination.
Secretary
Brody Bestluck
Maintains all official records, minutes, and correspondence. Ensures compliance with reporting requirements.
Treasurer
Ben Peters
Manages the Society's finances, prepares financial reports, and oversees budgeting and audit processes.

Derrick Koch
Three Directors serve on the board, contributing to decision-making, committee work, and community outreach.

Meetings & Governance
The Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss Society business, review finances, and plan activities.
A quorum of four members is required for official business. Board members are elected at the Annual General Meeting and serve terms as defined in the bylaws.
Board members may be removed by a two-thirds vote of the membership at a Special General Meeting if they fail to fulfill their duties or violate the Society's code of conduct.
